House of Serenity by Sledge Empowerment
A safe place to reset, rebuild, and move forward
House of Serenity is Sledge Empowerment's housing initiative for adults who need stable housing and structured support while working toward self-sufficiency.
The program is being developed to provide furnished shared housing in a respectful, peaceful, and accountable environment where participants can focus on rebuilding their lives.
Our launch goal
We are preparing two two-bedroom residences that can house up to eight adults. One residence will serve men and one will serve women. Participants will receive housing at no cost while they work toward employment, financial stability, and a successful transition to independent living.
What donations can support
- Beds, mattresses, dressers, and bedroom essentials
- Living-room and dining-room furniture
- Kitchen supplies, cookware, and small appliances
- Linens, towels, cleaning products, and household necessities
- Painting, repairs, HVAC work, and move-in preparation
- Limited emergency food assistance and participant support

Your gift will help transform two apartments into safe, welcoming homes where participants can focus on rebuilding their lives. Every contribution — large or small — helps us move closer to opening the doors.
A dedicated House of Serenity fund is coming soon. For now, gifts are received through the Sledge Empowerment General Fund.
